Hotel stay in Kansas City
This stay was not so good. When we arrived at the hotel it looked like it was a run down type of motel. The customers who were staying there kept propping the outside door open so that people who didn’t have a reservation with a key could get in. The beds were average and could have used better looking bed covers. The carpeting looked old. This was not one of my better stays. Sorry

Room smelled terrible
Don’t stay here. We booked last minute since all the normal hotels were full. Didn’t want to spend $400-700 to stay at a nice downtown hotel for one night and this one had decent enough reviews. Room was dark, broken curtains, smelled awful, Super outdated and worn out furnishings, bedding, towels, carpet, etc. Noisy. We left for the evening and just came back to sleep and check out first thing in the morning it was so bad.

There were literally people outside breaking security boxes full of things that they had stolen from walmart.

We checked into our hotel on a Saturday afternoon after driving 3.5 hours from home to attend a 7pm concert in the area. We were told to go to the back of the property and swipe our card through the double doors. This did not work and the doors appeared to have been pried open at some point in time. Eventually someone let us into the building and it absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke and skunk smell. The carpet leading up the stairs to our floor was filthy and stained. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled like it was once a smoking room. Upon entering our room there were stains on the carpet from the bathroom out the door that looked old and like something was drug out of the room. In looking at our king sized bed it had a very thin tattered cloth as the bedspread complete with 3 cigarette burns in the middle. The footboards around the bottom of the frame were ripped off and the navy blue bed skirt was covered in white stains. Upon further inspection of the bed, the headboard also had some kind of dried fluid on it as well. The furniture in the room was paint stained, chipping, and it appeared someone had went to the bathroom in the bedside table at one point in time. There were not any hand towels in the bathroom either. This hotel was absolutely disgusting! Our concert ended at 10:40 that night and we knew we could not stay in this disgusting hotel. We ended up driving 3.5 hours back home that night. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The room was dirty, the hallway smells like cigarette smoke, looks people live there permanently and they are very noisy, you can only sleep between 12:00 am and about 4:30 am due to traffic noise from the freeway next to the hotel and tenants arguing loudly and slamming doors, I had to check out one day earlier because I couldn’t handle it any more, do not recommend

While the place was clean, there was no food available. The only coffee was in the lobby. The bed was too soft, and the one chair was so low and soft, i could barely ge/ out of it.

I had three rooms total to accommodate my family of 6 adults and 2 children. When we first entered the property, the staff were friendly and helpful, however, upon further inspection the property was not fit to host anybody. The surroundings were dirty, unkept, and gross. Anybody could break into the first-floor rooms. Our room had random stains on the carpet, tears in the carpet, random stains found on the walls, bathroom tub, bedsheets and windows. All of the rooms smelled of rotten chicken that was left out and the smell of cigarettes was pungent. In one of the rooms there were black hairs stuck on the towels in the bathroom. Overall, we tried to give the hotel a chance, but we left as soon as possible. We checked in around 3:30 and left at 4 to another hotel. Never again.

Stay somewhere else
They don’t have hand towels. The outside rodent trap was used to prop door open and by the smell it had a dead mouse in it. Room was not clean, refrigerator was not clean. Hotel rooms can be rented by the week/month and it was noisy all night. Doors slamming and running in halls on 2nd floor until after 1:00am and before 7:00am. Kids playing in parking lot and bouncing balls against buildings.
