Clean for animal friendly

For animal friendly it is a very clean hotel. Our room had a dog odor that was gone after we ran the air. Staff was very friendly and super quick to refill breakfast.

I was pleased although the breakfast was not much to desire. Late arrival and I was looking for water. Water was warm and had bad lemons in it. Manager was nice and he helped with an email. I appreciated that so much.

Waited 10 minutes to check in, and then waited an additional 10 minutes during the check in process. Staff was inexperienced. Reserved and paid for two queen beds, and was told when I got there they did not have any available (spoke to the manager the next day and she was unsure why she said that because there were plenty available). Additionally, ended up getting double charged since I paid via Expedia and then getting charged again during check in. Lady ended charging me for another room. She realized she made a mistake; however, never told me what happened so all I saw was a charge on my account. Only found out when I went and talked to the manager. Manager was nice but will not book again.

They were doing remodeling in the elevator area so walking on drop clothes is not ideal. The ice machine did not work on 3rd floor where we were. They obviously had some kind of water damage or something but the outside of the building was rotted away the rooms that were affected windows open and the drapes hanging out. Very bad look. Coffee pot in room the plastic holder that holds the coffee did not fit and I had to hold it the whole time only 1 coffee cup in the room so I had to go get more. The hot breakfast was cold and eggs dried out needless to say we didn’t have breakfast there anymore. The staff was very polite when we checked in.

This is our second time staying at the property. It is always very clean and the staff was very friendly. It's a great location. Close to shopping and restaurants. The only issue we had was the noise. There was a large group at the hotel at the same time as us. The kids were running and being loud well into the evening.
