The only thing to like about this property was the location. We were going to the football game at Arrowhead stadium and the location was convenient. Otherwise the place was absolutely filthy. There were a lot of activities going on in Kansas City this weekend but we chose to move all the way out to Leavenworth Kansas for our 2nd night. We only stayed the one night because we couldn't find another vacancy, so we bit the bullet for the one night. When we walked into the breakfast area the next morning it felt like we were walking on a floor where coke had been spilled and not cleaned up . We couldn't even think of eating anything. We use Expedia all the time and must say we are extremely disappointed that this hotel is on the list. I had never stayed at a Days Inn before and never will again. I have to question now how much I will trust Expedia going forward. This hotel needs to be removed from the data base. Oh, the staff were friendly as the one positive. They even admitted the hotel was dirty and they were having trouble hiring a good cleaning staff. Very disappointing.

When I arrived the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. I got my key and went to my room which was 220. Once I opened the door it looked like someone tried to break in I had to lift the door to close it. I went to the restroom and there was 2 Dirty towels in the shower. It was a smoking room because I booked it on accident and when I told the lady at the desk she said not her problem. There were cigarette hole in the comforter. The next morning woke up and went to get breakfast the coffee machine was broken and it was filthy in the area. I went to QT to get breakfast and coffee. My experience was horrible. I really made the wrong decision to choose that hotel. For now on I will not book with Days Inn.

This place is NOT somewhere anyone should stay. We didn’t even stay. We walked in paid went the to the room called other hotels and left. There were druggies all over the place. People actually lived there in the room. As I was standing at the counter waiting to get checked in the hoodlums standing off to side were taking about stealing our car, not knowing it was ours they were talking about. The room door had busted locks on it. The hallways reeked of drugs and we felt unsafe. The whole building is run down. It was something out of a horror film. Druggies wandering around banging on doors trying to get in. RUN from this place!

I booked two rooms. Could not get a receipt printer not working, rooms were dirty, bedding was nasty, flooring coming up and missing tiles no coffee, machine was broke couldn’t get hot water, broken furniture and cockroaches. Shared this with desk clerk and she didn’t seem to care. First time in Kansas City and at a days inn. Will not stay at another days inn and will share with family and friends about our stay

I would not recommend this hotel. The room seemed to not have been cleaned between the person before me and when I got there- surfaces were not wiped down, the floor was gross, and it smelled like smoke.

We ended up turning around and walking out. Felt totally unsafe here and the roach running across the room door was enough to make me turn around and leave with my family. It reeked of cigarettes and other types of smoke. DO NOT BOOK! The only redeeming quality was the super nice lady at the front desk.
