Holiday Inn on Admiral Street in KCMO
Overall the stay was Great, but I tried calling the Front Desk 3 or 4 times to make a change to my reservation over a period of an Hour and nobody answered. Not only that…someone from IHG reservations also tried calling the Front Desk as did I and didn’t get an answer either which in my opinion is horrible Customer Service….but with that said and not to take away from the fact that this Hotel is Beautiful and the Staff is Great and our stay was Great and I would stay there again !!

Honestly. I traveled with my two young kids and it was a long drive. We got there ready to get to our room and let them relax for a little before we went out to a celebration dinner. We got our key card and literally walked into a dirty room, wet towels and messed up beds. I’m pretty sure they gave us the keys to someone else’s room. Then had to go back to the desk to tell them it was the wrong room and they looked at me like i was crazy. Asking if the room was really not clean?? And i was like excuse me i wouldn’t lie. Then had to wait a solid 15 minutes til they found another room for my family. They gave us a free drink to their bar in the hotel and that was all.

Great service at the front desk during check in. Service at the bar and for dinner was excellent from Javan later that evening. Clean, large room (Queen suite with sofa sleeper). Bathroom is a little small in that room, but nice and clean.

The blinds in our room did not open and one of the locks on the door did not work. Food was not great -recommend eating out, not at hotel restaurant. The rest of the hotel was ok. Front desk and waitress/bartender were very nice. Was able to do laundry there, no charge for machines was a BIG PLUS.

When you walk in the door, the staff are very friendly and helpful and expedite your check-in process by already having your paperwork filled out and printed waiting for you to arrive. They offer information as events going in the area. Ask how your day is and make you feel right at home whenever you enter. Everything is well kept and up to date. The beds are comfortable. The AC's ice cold, no odors and well stocked. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will definitely be staying with them again

Stayed just one night for a concert at TMobile on a Wednesday night. After other reviews saying it was a sketchy walk, I was initially concerned, but we decided to try it and had no issues. There were hardly any pedestrians after a couple blocks from the venue, but it was well lit the whole way and we had no issues. It was a decent distance, but not bad at all. The hotel did have a very strong air freshener smell in the hallways, but the room was fine. The bathroom had some shoddy work, but overall clean and no issues with noise, all staff were nice and available when needed.

Nice spot overall. The place was clean, rooms were nicely setup and convenient bar. The property charged to park which was a turnoff; the front desk personnel was inconsistent. Friendly when around but sometimes wasn’t around. Overall was adequate for the money.
