Positives, cleanliness, breakfast and walking trail. Negatives, had to call twice for a pillow, only one half used roll of toilet paper and box of tissues. Huge room but only one lounge chair and office chair on wheels. S/have a second lounge chair or couch. TV had two large white spots in the tv screen.

The setting is very nice, but the property as a whole is getting rundown. It is in need of repairs. I was here just last year and felt that it was an excellent stay for the price. This go round makes me say mediocre.

This hotel was chosen for a softball tournament and I was just tailing along. Although it was quite far from where they were playing, in Overland Park, the hotel is in a nice somewhat quiet area that includes the lake on Bass Pro drive. We enjoyed a leisurely walk around the lake. There are lots of restaurants in the area. The softball girls took advantage of the indoor/outdoor pool area.

Customer service was ok nothing good nor bad to note. Continental breakfast was better than expected. Many different options to choose from. Room was showing signs of age and neglect. We also found an old bowl of cereal under the bed at the end of our stay. The rooms were clearly not cleaned very well.

The pond and trail behind the property is very nice. The room we stayed in was probably one of the least well kept rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Even the coffee maker was dusty!
