The bathroom was dirty. The toilet didn't flush well. Bathtub was in terrible condition. Molding coming away from walls in multiple areas. Staff was courteous, the breakfast was good. Front areas and lobby very clean. Mattress was sagging though. Needs some improvements on the property. But with these improvements the Wingate will be a good place to stay.

I would never recommend this Hotel. Very dirty everywhere. I didn't complain because my girl asked me not too. But this place is a one Star at best. Everything from staircase to elevator to sitting area Needs to be cleaned!!!!

The pictures of the property are not accurate. Rooms were filthy: sheets stained, floors dirty, fingerprints everywhere. Staff acted inconvenienced when we requested additional linens or linen changes due to said stains.

The rooms somewhat dirty, furnished with furniture that could have been gotten from a thrift shop. It was just a really crummy hotel in a sketchy area. I survived it though.

Room was clean. Pool was open but my husband found a sign that said Pool closed by Health Dept laying on the ground. It was concerning. I was disappointed there was no hot tub. The shower was good pressure and worked well. Breakfast said it started at 6am but food wasn't ready until around 6:30. I felt fine staying there with my husband but I don't know that I would as a woman alone due to the misplaced housing individuals and being right by the interstate.

The beginning of the stay was a little rocky. We were put in a room that had cord leading to the adjoining running was was blowing hot air. The front desk did move us immediately upon note. Customer service was great the entire stay.

Well the first thing I did when I got there was to take a shower, hot water only got Luke warm, very disappointing, then went to brush teeth &.the sink facet sprayed sideways & went everywhere, also noticed quite a few water leaks down the walls which obviously seems mold , only one tv channel which is not right, everything else was just ok but not great

Catfished hotel

As soon as we walked in the hotel we noticed it was filthy. We got on the elevator which was also dirty as ever, when it stopped it sounded like it was going to break with an awful loud sound. We had two rooms and both rooms looked nothing like the pictures. They were dirty. We checked the beds and they had stains on the sheets, it looked like pet hair on one and pee stains. When asked for a refund we were told no due to hotel policy. We stayed the night and woke up to bed bug bites all over my son and his friend. One actually ran across the bed. We were supposed to stay another night and went straight to the desk and checked out. Once again I asked for a refund and was denied one. I literally paid for two nights and two rooms and we left with no refund no hotel rooms to stay in and bed bug bites all over my kids. We was completely hotel catfished. Worst experience ever!!! DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS AND FILTHY ROOMS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Don’t think I will ever stay here ever again! Looks can be deceiving on this one; they show a pool table; if course it dosent work, kinda disappointed on that one when they show pictures of it, then they advise and will tell you at the front desk the pool is heated, it’s not, they don’t have a hot tub either, they had a dirty qtip laying on the ground by the bed when we walked in; oh and can we talk about the patch work they did in the celing in the bathroom for the hole; they stuff toliet paper up in there; it’s like they put a bandaid on this thing for being a Wyndham Hotel I would of expected more from them. Definitely not recommending this place! I didn’t even stay the two nights I stayed and of course I booked through Expedia so of course I couldn’t get my money back on the night on the other night we stayed. Oh well hopefully they can use that money to send to the hotel to actually patch the hole in the shower correctly!

The property is not kept well. Stains in carpet, holes in the ceilings of the bathroom, pillows smelled terrible, had to take the stairs because the elevator was SCARY! The area was super sketchy. The parking lot was FILTHY and trash was everywhere. I should have requested a refund and changed hotels if I wasn't so exhausted from the travel.

Not worth the price

The people at the front desk are extremely rude when checking in and out. I was put in a room that had a very noticable yellow stain all the way across the bottom of the curtain which must have been urine from a previous guest pet because the smell of the room was terrible of dog odor.

Do not stay here... gets worse every month

Not great. There was a shoot out and the front desk people said to wait and find out what happened. Ummmm no thank you I will not wait here and find out if more shots will be fired. They were more worried about loosing the guest then keeping people safe. This was within an hr of us arriving and they argued to give us our money. They ended up doing but were very rude about it.
