Lotus Hotel across from Royals
Our second night there we noticed that the smoke detector was covered with plastic so we asked the front desk about it. They told us that people will cover them and smoke in the room. The hotel will charge $300.00 cleaning fee for anyone smoking in a room. This hotel is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. They had the cleaning people remove the plastic. My allergies were really bothering me in this room and now I know why, I am allergic to cigarette smoke. The plastic on the smoke detector should have been found by their staff before we ever checked into the room. If we hadn't found the plastic they may have thought we had done it and tried to charge us for the $300 cleaning fee. More than likely we will not stay at this hotel again.

We were charged over the listed price for our dog's stay. When l pointed out the discrepancy between the written price and what I was charged I was told, "we just changed it." There was no effort whatsoever to correct the discrepancy. Lobby was dirty with trash on tge floor. Front desk person not very friendly.

Honestly it was very good of you’re trying to stay on a budget. Staff was nice and helpful. The wifi was pretty slow which was my only hang up. It lagged quite a bit. If you’re looking for new footing and makeup this is not the place for you, but if you’re looking to save money and still get quality than I would recommend.

We stayed here for the same reason everyone does- proximity to the stadium. This hotel could use a refresh. That said- they were packed this weekend, and handled all the guests. Breakfast was stocked and warm. Our room had an issue with the A/C. I politely informed the front desk, and they had someone there within 15 minutes that took care of it. The parking lot is a strange maze and in disrepair. But I would stay here again, just for the stadium. They did have lots of issues with the POS kiosks at the front desk, and the staff were neither friendly nor mean. Just did not feel very welcoming.

This place was really nice at first , because me and my husband need a place to stay while on business. But here lately everytime we have stayed something was wrong . The air conditioning didnt work they was passing out fans , but not explaining this to customer until you complained and you had already checked in so you couldnt refund. Had to stay another time tv didnt work and maintenance explained management knew the tv didnt work also no heat they passed out little heaters that really didnt heat the room and once again didnt explain to customer at front desk that it didnt have heat

Nightmare
This is the most horrible hotel I’ve ever heard anyone talk of! Walking in I knew I wouldn’t stay in what is essentially low budget. The feeling was confirmed by the girl at the front desk who was nothing except bossy and uneducated. I’m embarrassed to have shown up but glad I can afford to leave. There is a hidden-by-waist-high weeds driveway and the entire property is surrounded by dry grass. The only redemption about it is the proximity to the freeway so you can make a quick escape!

Football Game weekend.
The hotel was nice. The rooms were clean. And the bed was very comfortable. Stayed here to go to a Chiefs game. It was so close we walked to the football game. So over all wonderful stay!!!
