There are pros and cons to every resort as well as differences in opinion. This review is from my opinion only and others may not agree. We stayed in a Jr. Swim Up on the Palms side, just regular not preferred.
1. Staff- was great and super friendly
2. Check in - quick and painless
3. Room - Dated but clean and spacious. We did find walking in barefoot our feet got dirty.
For sleeping the room didn’t get dark enough for me. I’m glad I brought a sleep mask.
AC worked great
The swim up was awesome, had a patio area, then a short step down to shallow water with loungers then had a 4ft area to swim/float to other rooms or bar pool. Sun and shade mixed.
Sound proofing was good, could hear music a night a bit in our location.
4. Food - This is the make or break for many. We found the food in the Italian and Sushi place to be the best. Reservations needed at those two. The Mediterranean was not bad but not a lot of choices. The rest of the food was hit and miss for us.
5. Grounds - This resort was a little tricky to navigate. Lots of path ways but not many signs. The map was helpful but definitely didn’t show everything. The grounds were beautiful tho. Tons of palm trees, flowering bushes and plants. Kept very well by staff.
6. Beach - Also many guests make or break. The beach on palms side is best, it goes a little ways for a short stroll. Shallow so many waded, float, snorkeled and hung out with drinks. Lots of Bali beds and chairs but it would depend on capacity
