We stayed for a week in an ocean view apartment. Whether or not you like this hotel will depend on a couple of things so here is the good and the bad.
Good: location. It's in walking distance of Kapa'a and there is a nice walkway that spans quite a distance. The hotel has free bikes, a small pool, and and a small beach front. You can book a massage on the beach for extra. The view is lovely. Also, Kapa'a is fairly central to most of the island. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. There is a small walk up restaurant for breakfast at the hotel.
The bad:
The room was very adequate but the carpet had lots of water stains. There is a fridge but no kitchen so don't plan to cook here. There is a nice soaking tub but no grab bars. Very nice balcony though. You have to request housekeeping but they do a great job when requested. The traffic in front of the hotel is pretty busy, but parking was never a problem.
Over all, we would stay again. Not an all-inclusive place by any means and not a resort feel. But a good place to stay if you plan to drive the island each day.
