Kauai shores hotel was great affordable option for our trip. The rooms are newly decorated and clean. Every room has balcony or lanai so that was handy for our sandy shoes, etc… The grounds are so cute and make it feel like a much more upscale hotel. The lava lava restaurant is a great location and such a cool vibe. You have a close beachfront setting. The parking is not good. The spots are very very tight and usually fill up. We ended up parking on the side of the shopping mall next door and was no more of a distance to walk. So we ended preferring parking over there.

Fun and downtown earth resort.
It was just an overnight from the Big Island. Just to see the different scenery. But I am impressed by this beach side resort. You can enjoy swimming during the day and dancing and jacuzzi at night. Next door walking distance, you can enjoy shopping and eating and drinking! Also not too far from the airport, which is very convenient.

What a great hotel for the value and location! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and polite. Being right by the beach and having the Lava Lava Club for delicious drinks and food was the highlight of the stay. The rooms were clean, the A/C and fans worked perfectly to cool us off after all day outside. The other amazing amenities we enjoyed were the free bike rentals that allowed us to explore other areas of the town and ride along the beach as well as the hot tub after a long day of activities. You really cannot beat the location, value, and amenities of this hotel! We can't wait to be guests here again!

Best motel 6 I’ve stayed in with free valet
This is a maybe a 3 star hotel. Rooms were fine but more motel style but I guess for Kuaii that’s the best you will do without spending $600 a night on a real resort. Everyone was friendly. Everything worked in the rooms and everything was clean. Again I felt like it was an upgraded motel. The pool was nothing special but you are right in a beautiful beach so use the beach. Upside was free valet a huge plus and downside was breakfast sucked and wasn’t worth the money whatsoever. They need new chefs and breakfast cooks because the preparation and quality was not worthy of a Denny’s and priced like a 4 star. You’re better off going into town. Also the hotel features Hawaiian Tropic amenities which was also a nice touch.

I paid for ocean view rooms and DID Not get ocean view was told u have to come out of your room to see the ocean . They do not have any ocean view, the property is ocean view.. I paid $300 extra for ocean view and expect refund from Orbits !!

We had a great time and the property worked beautifully for what our trip was. The much needed air conditioning and the staff were wonderful when I requested a foam topper to soften the bed, it was brought to my room and put on the bed for the next night We loved the beach and the yoga. Mahalo!!
