The best thing about this resort is its location—right in front of Karon Beach, which is absolutely beautiful. If you stay in one of the cabanas, you’ll be much closer to the beach, but if you’re in the main building, expect a bit of a walk.
One downside was that the hotel was undergoing major construction, which made the pool area pretty noisy during the day. While I understand that renovations happen, I would have appreciated being informed about it before arrival. It wasn’t a huge issue for us since we spent most of our time at the beach, but if you’re planning to relax by the pool, it’s something to consider.
Another minor issue was the shower in our room—the water temperature fluctuated between freezing cold and scalding hot. We didn’t report it until checkout since it didn’t bother us too much after being in the Phuket heat, but for families with kids, this could be a concern.
Overall, the resort has a great location, but given the issues we experienced, I’d likely choose a different hotel next time.
