Kathmandu Peace Home is a clean and budget-friendly place near Thamel but away from the noise. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and good value for money wifi and hot water 24 hour available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop area is a nice spot to relax. Some guests mention slow WiFi and occasional street noise, but overall it’s a great choice for budget travelers looking for peace and convenience in Kathmandu.

I had a wonderful stay at Kathmandu Peace Home! The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made me feel at home. A special shoutout to Manager Ramhari and Surendra, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, the environment was peaceful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing local recommendations, or simply ensuring everything was in order, the team was always helpful and friendly. 'Highly Recommended'

Great affordable accomodation near Thamel without being in the busy tourist center. It is a quick walk to Thamel and the shopping area. The courtyard is lovely and it is great to have breakfast included. The hotel is also close to the bus stop for transport to Pokhara.

Good value for the price. The area is just a short walk fron Thamel (though you have to cross the main avenue, which can be dangerous for tourists—we managed just fine). The rooms are clean and spacious. The facility has some balconies that guests can use. Wifi is excellent. We had no issues with the hot shower. My one minor complaint is that we saw a tiny cockroach in our room. Honestly, it’s not the property’s fault because the room was really clean. It’s just the area and the city in general are very polluted (I’m surprised we didn’t see more bugs, frankly). But honestly, the value for the money is excellent.

About 5 minutes walk from downtown Thamel, this place is located on a quiet street (just outside of Thamel). The owner and his staff are quick to deal with issues that arise. This is not a fancy place, but one that is clean and fully functional. For the price that I paid, it's a really good deal and I'd stay here again - without question.
