Kathmandu Valley Vacation Packages

Excellent

Our 1 week stay at Kathmandu Suite Home was wonderful. Everyone was pleasant and went out of their way to take care of us. The daily breakfast had a variety of selections to please any appetite with dishes that were more local to dishes that would be familiar to folks from North America. They have a very nice espresso machine and the staff prepared lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso based drinks for breakfast. We had a room with a balcony, with a view of the "Monkey Temple" in the distance. We were always supplied with plenty of bottled water. and the daily room service kept the room spotless. The tour desk was outstanding and provided ample ideas for cultural tours of many Temples and Stupas. Arjune, our driver, was amazing in navigating the Kathmandu traffic. We also had a tour guide for 2 days. Both Arjune and our tour guide explained the Temples and culture in great detail. We made stops at local restaurants for traditional Nepalese meals and also for some Khuwa high in the hills above Kathmandu. The hotel is a very short walk from the Thamel district, but negotiating the intense Kathmandu traffic while walking is something that requires your full attention as we found few sidewalks and had to walk in the street, Not something you'd be doing in a larger American city, but quite normal in Kathmandu. We would definitely stay there again!

This was my second visit to the hotel within a few weeks. The weather was better so I enjoyed the outdoor eating area for breakfast. However, this time there were cockroaches in the room which wasn’t a pleasant experience. Disappointing response from hotel.

This hotel is clean, close to many restaurants, shops and central to all things tourist life but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood area so very quiet at night. The restaurant has good food too. If you want authentic Nepalese cuisine ask for it as normally they tone down the chili for the tourists. Breakfast was good. AC works great too as well as fast WiFi. Staff and Service were exceptional as they kept our bags for a few days when we were trekking tigers. We would stay here again.

Everything perfect room 502. Staff super friendly!

Everything was amazing at the hotel. The staff was so helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is to upgrade the toilets. They were kind of disgusting to look at.
