Check in was super quick with Dina, room 321 had grear decor with a great size bathroom & powerful shower. 3 course evening meal was very nice, especially the lamb shqnk, staff Matilda & Ash very friendly. Location suited us really well & ample parking. Will definately return

Everything about the stay was top class. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The food was absolutely fantastic, tasty, having large quantities and having a varied menu. The staff in the restaurant, in the Reception and behind the Bar were polite, extremely efficient, friendly approachable, top class again. The Management should be congratulated and keep these high standards. We will return again as we have done so over the years,

We have stayed a few times now at the hotel and each time the standards are always high. Very clean room and the staff are always helpful. The restaurant food is excellent and always a good choice on the menu

Great break hotel

Nice hotel, great central location. Parking is excellent. Room as clean and comfy. Staff were all very friendly. Easy to check in. Bed was extremely soft, which didn't suit us, but otherwise good.

Really good location for exploring Keswick and the area. Close to town centre, rooms clean and fairly spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food really good quality and with some vegetarian options. Drinks from the bar not too expensive. The only downside is some of the hotel looks somewhat "tired" and could do with upgrading. All in all, a really nice place to have a break.

We loved the idea of repurposing an old and magnificent building. Very clean and comfortable. Staff excellent. A little overpriced,especially considering no meals were included.

Room review

The room was lovely but the bathroom was freezing cold because it had no radiator in there so it made it really uncomfortable having a shower because it was like an ice block and you couldn't leave the door open because the cold came into the bedroom making that room cold but apart from that it was lovely.

1 hour breakfast

Breakfast is only served for 1 hour. The windows in my room rsttled all night keeping me awake. They also did not lock, anybody could walk along the flat room outside the window and enter my room. Did not feel safe.
