The room/property was not what was described at all, “deluxe seaside view boutique style”. the closet doors looked ripped off, (there were none) part of the blinds were missing, the screen door fell off and my husband had to fix it. Then the lights would flicker at times, Even when in the shower which was alarming. Overall extremely disappointing. Manuel was very understanding tho and took care of compensation. I don’t know if the other side of the complex was kept up better, but I would never recommend Azul del Mar

Very cute place with a couple of issues. Lights kept dimming and a few tiles coming off the shower floor. Informed management and they are going to look into it.

STAY AWAY

It's a self check-in which is fine. But I received NO code to use and we had no idea what room we were staying in. Could not contact the owner at # privided had to go next door and use a number they had. Then when we got in the room had not been cleaned and there were bugs on the bed. We had to find another hotel and now we are trying to get a refund and hotels.com can't reach them to approve our refund. Yes it was a non refundable because I booked it same day. We should be able to get a refund. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PLACE AT ALL

The lighting needs to be improved as the kitchen is very dark. There was a battery operated light under a cabinet, but it wasn’t working. Also, the shower had very poor water flow - the hand held shower head hose was too short. Other than those items, the place was very beautiful, picturesque and nice and quiet. The check in, checkout process was awesome

It was a charming stay. I loved the small, intimate feel the location gave. The only downfall is the thin walls; we could hear the kids next door playing all night. Other than that, the place is beautiful and has a homey feel.

Beautiful cozy beach access with access to kayaks and paddleboards. Beautiful sunset. Cute, clean room. Would have liked access to filtered drinking water. I think a water filling station would have been a great advantage. Also, management is not readily available. Left a message to receive some help with our entrance door, which wasn't working properly. Never received a call back.

The place is small and cozy, making early check-in nearly impossible. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a rainy weekend. We stayed in the Aquamarine room, which was spacious and featured a king-size bed so comfortable you’ll want to stay in it all day. Be sure to bring insect repellent, as the mosquitoes are quite intense. The air conditioning and shower could be improved, the water pressure was very low, and it took a while to heat up. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
