We arrived to no electricity in our original room. We were given a downgrade that stunk of weed, cigarettes and wet rug/dog. We asked to be accommodated and were told it was best they could do as electricity was out in many rooms. Beach/pool area in disarray. All lounge chairs dirty and sticky, from where folks would eat on them. No towels at the pool, ever, and front desk shrugged and said first come first serve but that wasn’t the case, there were no towels. No one was given a towel. We stayed in Hampton Inns in Rhode Island, Indiana, Wisconsin and Ohio. Hampton Inn Key Largo was HORRIBLE. You can’t shake dirty sticky and smelly.

Rooms nicely decorated. “Beach” is small but gives the view from the chair which is relaxing maybe after another activity off premises. Water was clean, beach chairs were sufficient when we stayed but only 13 chairs so doesn’t take much to be full. Giving it 2 stars because on second night they had an electrical problem that impacted all of our building knocking down power to multiple rooms 6/7 times through the night losing AC and getting noisy as repair technicians knocked on rooms to figure out what was happening. Requested a change of room to an area unaffected by the issue and front desk refused even-though they acknowledged they were not completely full . With pressure from Expedia they agreed to refund me for that night and we moved to a different hotel the next morning as we did not wanted to find out if the repairs actually worked. I think they need to invest in better training on their front desk staff not very courteous across the board. Not empathetic at all with the situation affecting multiple guests. Location was very convenient for us as we had planned several activities in Pennekamp park 1/2 mile away

We can't say enough about this property! The front desk staff was beyond accommodating! Olivia and all the girls were absolutely fabulous Staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly! We would highly recommend this hotel. Nicole the Tiki bartender was very pleasant and gave us great suggestions for restaurants which we really enjoyed!

Amazing staff and amenities!

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for one night and after seeing how great it was, we decided to stay for another night! The pool, tiki bar, and beach were perfect and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful! Erta helped me with booking another night and was able to keep us in our same room, which was extremely kind. I highly recommend Hampton Inn Key Largo!

Property was fine overall. Rooms were clean and spacious, however they smelled musty and could use an update (dated). Breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly. The beach was small but cute. Manatees would swim by each day..very exciting. Cons were that you have to pay for the kayak rental..super expensive. No where on their website or expedia does it mention this. Additionally, there were very few beach chairs and no umbrellas. It was scalding hot, and no one could use the beach for very long as it was too hot. Installing chairs and umbrellas would be such a small expense for a huge hotel chain and the raitings would improve. Pool was nice, but again no chairs, and one small table. Its a non smoking property but the people below us smoked the entire time and stunk us out. We did alert the desk and they asked them to stop, but they didnt. This was probably our biggest turnoff, as we couldnt enjoy the patio. Would we stay again? Possibly for one night or two on our way down the keys, but thats about it. Some updates, put in more chairs/umbrellas, offer free/inexpensive kayak rental, and enforce the non smoking policy..and you have a gem.

The waterfront was nice. The area has a lot of potential to be even better though. There were minimal chairs by the beach and even less by the pool. There were not any towels either. One of the chairs we were able to get was broken. The room itself was fine though very noisy and had a broken floor tile that you could catch your foot on the edge with.

This is a nice property. We got there late so we didn't get to see too much that night but we got up the next morning and walked around. Breakfast was great! Pool was.nice, I loved the little beach.
