A Nice Overnight Stay

We had a good stay. My daughter loved the cliff and the pool was heated (which was nice considering it was chilly). There was live music every day as well. It's walkable to a little plaza that had a dive shop, subway, walgreens, a thai food restaurant etc. The rooms were big, spacious and clean. There was also laundry right across our room which was convenient.

This hotel does not look like it does in the pictures. It does have a nice swimming pool that is heated and I did like the bar in the swimming area, but the rooms are like staying in a cheap roadside motel. There’s no microwaves and the rooms are not carpeted. They are vinyl. There’s no breakfast unless you want to spend $15 for a crappy buffet. You have to go off property to get any type of food because the vending machine suck.

The rocking chairs and tables outside our doors. Layout of pools,hot tub, bar, music. BUT NOT OUR FIRST VISIT and no one could use pools because the were so cold. Heated but needed to take chilly weather in key largo in to increasing heat. Over four days very few including my family could not use the pools only hot tub. Really disappointing for 6 people in our party. We had adjoining rooms so it was pricey not being able to use pools.

This hotel does not have curb appeal, but once in the hotel it is fabulous. The room was clean and fresh. We had a balcony view over the marina. We were really happy with this hotel. Easy check in and out. Easy parking with a lot of dining options close by. Highly recommend.

Had to call maintenance twice, once for bathroom door that wouldn’t close and once for tv not working (not plugged in properly). Told him about the blinking light outside of window (you could see around the blinds blinking away). Kinda of annoying! Bartender had massive attitude, not sure what her problem is. Overall decent, pretty place just a little run down.

After arrival had to change rooms due to feeling unsafe on gas station side of complex! Front desk very accommodating and moved us to water side of complex! 2nd room ok but had to battle some ants in the room! Pool area and Pool Bar were highlight of stay!! Mike great bartender!! Pool very refreshing plenty of seating at pool!!

Hotel is in need of an update. The hotels resturant facility for dinner was very poor and my son ended up getting food poisoning. We decided to check out early for the above reason and we couldn’t take another the rattling aircon unit.
