I enjoyed the privacy and homey feel. We stayed in a 1 bed room and expected it to be small and it was bit very clean with a private patio. Grills to cook if you want. The private beach is not that big but not tiny. The water was perfect, clear and not hot yet (Mid May). The staff is friendly and helpful. Great stay mid-week.

Pleasant stay

Lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was by myself so got their efficiency unit. It was a little small, but the bed was comfortable and it had everything I needed including a refrigerator. Property was nice and had beautiful bay views. There were plenty of beach chairs on the beach and docks to sit and take in the sunset which I did both nights I was there. Seaside Grill (??) is walking distance for dining and was excellent. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I stayed at this beachfront cottage for 3 days and 2 nights, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the ocean, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with charming decor and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, I was disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast offered, which I had expected based on similar accommodations. Also, having to pay for parking was a letdown, especially at a beachfront location where space seemed ample. That said, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The staff was friendly, the beach access was fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place made it easy to unwind. I’d still recommend it—just be prepared for a few added costs.

We stayed at Pelican for two nights passing through to Key West. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, not only in checking in but also checking out where they let us use the beach and communal fridge for a few hours after checking out. The room was clean and modern, with a great little covered veranda. The private beach and docks were fantastic for laying out, going for a swim, using the kayaks and watching the sunsets. Would definitely return.

Old-Florida Charm

The cottages are slightly shabby but in a comfortable old-Florida way. The whole place is that way, refreshing in this day of high rise resorts. The highlight is it waterfront, with a nice little beach, two docks and lots of comfortable chairs to sit in. Really lovely. We would happily stay here again, and for Key Largo the value is not bad.

Like the little beach area that is it. Doors not fitting right flooring beside toiet missing. AC was very noisy. Bed uncomfortable. I left after only 7 hours after check in. Needs big time updating. Waste of 150 dollars never again.
