The floors were dirty and the lights did not work at all in the living room area. The tv did not work. Otherwise everything else was good. Just needs a little improvement.

Looooved this property! So much so that we booked another night after the first (we were going with the flow on this trip). It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the a/c was perfect (I always get hot at night but did not have that here. Huge win!). The balcony faced the water and we could hear live music playing at the restaurant across the water. Lots of iguanas on the property, as well as lizards (not inside though). The pool was small but pleasant. Very impressed with this place. Highly recommend!

Pros _ walking distance to Rainbow Reef Dive Boats . Updated interior , rooms are clean. AC is cold. Cons _ Sharkeys Bar's Band is heard into room. Under Condo covered parking is First come , First serve and NOT assigned to your room. Which your room is right over said civered parking. Grounds are Dirty. Front office smells like weed. Parking lot is poorly lit at night.

I’ve stayed here twice with my significant other. The front desk is hit or miss with friendly service BUT the rooms make up for it. CLEAN and very spacious, every room has a view. There are (steep) stairs but some rooms have a bed downstairs as well as on the 2nd floor. We didn’t have an issue with the stairs but some may, we LOVE this location. Correctly booked a resort in Islamorada and regretted not staying here instead, will stay here next time for sure.

The pool was nice after a day of scuba diving. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure. It’s inexpensive but the 8.8 rating and everyone giving it 10/10 is suspect. When we arrived there were a bunch of empty beer cans, cigarette butts and old towels on the deck. Just after check-in the front desk asked how things were. We informed them about the mess on the deck and they apologized, offered to move us but we agreed on just cleaning it up the next morning- three days later and a few reminders it’s still there. Getting coffee was a similar process but after several walks down to the front office and some e-mails I finally got some coffee for the room’s coffee maker as well as a soap dispenser for the shower which was empty. The hotel was mostly empty - they gave me the room that was as far away from the stairs as possible. The furniture down stairs was stained and worn. Keep in mind you will need to climb 1 flight of stairs to get to your living room/kitchen and another steep flight of stairs to get to the bedroom. The front offices smelled like marijuana. There is a kitchenette which was nice but very limited utensils, pots, dishes etc. Everyone seemed to be nice but unable to solve simple problems. It’s low priced and I’m a budget traveler, but I will try somewhere else next time.

Convenient to stay after travelling with a boat. Parking was good and walked to a decent restaurant, Docksiders. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Would stop there again.
