We loved that Ambrosia was located in a quiet side street but so walkable to Duval and the waterfront. The setting is very tropical with lush foliage surrounding the pools and creating privacy from neighbouring properties. Our room was spacious with a wraparound porch, hammock and table and chairs for relaxing after a day exploring. The staff were friendly and had numerous recommendations. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would stay here again on a future visit.

Ambrosia is a charming quiet tropical oasis that is within easy walking distance of many popular sites. There is also a free bus route that stops half a block away. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast is available in the poolside gazebo. We loved our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Ambrosia. I cannot say anything negative. Friendly heloful staff, comfortable beds, enough towels, a lot of little extras, good breakfast, quiet street but close enough to walk everyhwhere. Cannot wait to go back !!!

What we liked: Great breakfast outside near the pools. Easy walk to Duval and pretty much anything in Key West, Lovely greenery/decor all around the pool area, very relaxing. We received new bath towels each day, which was welcome. Beach towels are provided, which was a nice surprise. Great bedding/comfortable mattress. Quiet neighborhood. What we didn't like: The welcome! The lady who welcomed us at check-in was borderline rude. Very short. Our room looked outdated. The bathtub -while probably clean- was all stained and rusty. Not very appealing...

Great room & staff was very accommodating!! Two minor issues with the room that hopefully will be fixed since we checked out, and most likely have been issues prior to us and either never reported or never fixed. Pools were great. Loved that we could rent bicycles right at the Inn (and at a cheap rate for 24 hours!) The only thing that could be better would be breakfast, maybe rotating the options for those who are staying more than one day, especially when you are called a “Bed & Breakfast”.
