When we first walked into the lobby, we could smell how clean the property was. The resort staff, from the desk clerks to the waitresses, were phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to take care of us. Our room was great. The pools were extremely clean.

Have taken the family numerous times. My wife loves the property . Great location large footprint / a lot of space ……valet staff is excellent and very accommodating… took care of charging my golf cart overnight. Has its own beach, and two pools …..only complaint which is more of a criticism is that the property is old and outdated … it needs a make over ….

Service/staff is excellent. Pools are great. The staff @ the Adult pool exceeded our expectations. Rooms are clean. Atmosphere is great. Hotel smells amazing. Shop has unique/quality items & the coffee is amazing. Just a heads up- Store does close at 8pm - you cannot find a snack anywhere nor a vending machine. If you want a drink or snack after 8pm - You'll need to doordash or drive to the circle K. On our last night...we were woken up several times by loud rooms in our wing...clear up to 5am. There were drunk ppl sleeping in the bathroom stalls in our wing...it was an absolute mad house all evening/night. We finally did call the front desk - Security could really step it up...I'm not sure how they couldn't have known what was going on - esp if they're truly monitoring. We'll definitely give it 1 more try since we frequently travel to the keys.

Hotel is dirty, tired and hideously overpriced. There is also a distinct feeling of prejudice against non-american visitors, this is evident by how the reception staff treat visitors checking in and out. We spoke with many Americans who got complimentary room upgrades whilst we and others had to pay to 'upgrade' to the rooms we had already booked and paid for online. Aside from dirty communal areas and broken tiles / fixtures, we saw a lot of rats running around the hotel dining terrace in the evenings. Finally, the maid only visited our room once in the 4 days we were there. This was reported to reception but made no difference. We will return to key west, but never to this hotel.

My first visit to The Casa was in 1985. Been back there many times over the years but not for the last 10 years. I absolutely LOVE The Casa. The rooms were refurbished, and the pools and beach areas are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Your visit goes too fast. It's not easy to leave. I have let it be known that when I die, my ashes are to be strewn across the waters at the Casa Marina Beach.
