Yes we would stay here again. Friendly staff, beautiful and well-maintained grounds. Highlight was the friendly kitty who greeted us and let us pet and snuggle. The room was spacious and the bed surprisingly comfortable. Lowlight was the bathroom. The bathroom door would latch close, bath fan didn’t work and it took 7-ish minutes to get hot water for the shower. When it finally came it was just barely hot enough…we ran it full hot with no cold to be comfortable.

The Heron house was a great place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, pool was wonderful, and it is in the perfect location. Close enough to walk into town, but still far enough away that it was quiet and enjoyable. Would definitely come back again to stay.

The noise from people in the pool after midnight and again at 6am in the morning was literally echoing in your room. The AC did not blow cold air and goes on and off every 2 mins.

Awesome affordable room
The photo says it all. Open your door to a beautiful courtyard with a good size pool.Plenty of sun and 5 minute walk to Duval, 20 minutes to the Bouy or to Mallory Square. Downside: The blinds on the all glass door don't cover and can be sen through. Nearby airport sends jets right over the roof all day.
