Property is Adults only, but someone brought in some small children one evening that were loud and running around without supervision. Heron House is an older beautiful facility, but is lacking on friendly customer service. The employee at check-in seemed to lack customer service skills and very quickly showed us where morning coffee and breakfast was served then walked away. When we needed towels exchanged, he walked away without saying anything. I wasn't sure what to do, so I followed him to the laundry room where he handed me new towels. It seemed like I was bothering him for a towel exchange. No employees ever said anything to us, not good morning, do we need anything, or thank you for staying with us. Heron House property was nice and convenient, but we will stay somewhere else next time we visit Key West.

The Heron House was amazing and our room was perfect! From check in to the pool, to breakfast and the top floor and Adult Only, everything was FABULOUS! Walking distance to everything!

This is a very nice quaint hotel. We felt very safe here. Nice pool area, coffee area and breakfast area. Close to Duvall Street for Key West fun.

Quaint

This is a great location. The unit and the grounds are clean and have a great vibe. The only negative I have is when the renovations were done you can tell on the walls that they were doorways going to another unit that we're not finished properly.

We enjoyed our time at the Heron House. When next we are in KW we certainly would stay again! We will also encouraged friends to check out your place. Christine was a joy to speak with every morning! The whole staff were easy going and helpful. Mary and Carol are a nice addition for us animal lovers to get our "cat fix".

Key West with friends

Group of 12, 6 rooms and we all had a great time. The beds were comfortable, pillows were a tad thin. Rooms were clean and they came in everyday to freshen them up. Coffee and continental breakfast every morning until 10.

Our room had serious plumbing issues. When the shower ran, the water in the toilet and sink bubbled and backed up. By the end of our stay you could not flush the toilet at all. Yuck.

While taking shower waste water was coming up in hand sink, I am pretty sure they knew it was a problem when they book the room due to the 2 plungers right beside the toilet, not happy Room #6 Stay clear

Beautiful room, quiet, adults only, unspoken freeing amentities for your adventurous side, very friendly staff and super close to everything we enjoy doing in key west. We've stayed 3 other times at other places but none can compare. This was our longest stay (8 days) and we'll be staying here again.
