The highlights: The property is located in a great area - walkable to multiple restaurants and shops and like 12 minutes to Duvall street. It’s also quiet and was relatively easy for us to find parking for our rental car. It was clean, yet slightly old fashioned giving it a southern charm. The front desk was nice and very helpful. The down side: our room constantly had flies. We started with one and went out for a few hours and came back and there were FIVE. None of our windows were open. The front desk did spray and provided us with a can of raid to use throughout our stay but we still had flies when we’d return to our room. You could see around the air conditioning unit there were openings which I assume is where they were coming in. We also had an issue with our safe requiring maintenance to come and unlock it. Also if you’re someone that needs a lot of space just know that there’s not a lot of space to put things in the room so it will feel crowded.

I really loved this place! I would be happy to stay again. My only critique is that it would be nice to have the front desk staffed longer. Other than that, it's hard to beat.

Their were flies in my room, probaly bc the didnt seal around the edges of the air conditioner and bugs were getting in. We slept close downstairs and it was noisy with people talking around 7am. Shower area looked dirty to me.

Key West
We chose this hotel for its proximity to downtown Key West. Location was a short walk to Duval Street and complimentary street parking was available. Check in is only available from 3-5pm. After this time no one is on site. We stayed in a second floor room. The first thing I noticed was the dirty carpets on the stairs. Our room had an odd set up, as the sink was in the main bedroom area not the bathroom. Sheets were very pilled and old. Bathroom towels were small and shed all over myself and my husband. We were picking white fuzz from the towels off ourselves all day. The hotel is no where near what one would classify as a resort yet a $25 resort fee was charged. I am not sure what exactly this covered? The frozen bagels and stale granola offered for breakfast? Employee who checked us in was friendly enough but I would not stay here again. I’ve stayed at small boutique hotels around the world and unfortunately this one wasn’t up to pare. We booked fairly last minute and this was one of the only spots with availability in the area we wanted to stay.

We arrived after hours but Roman left us easy directions for check in and parking. Very nice location close to the marina and several restaurants off of the Main Street. Would definitely go back!

I really enjoyed staying at this property. The staff was very friendly. It was a 15 minute walk to Duval street. You could rent bikes on the premises. It was 15.00 per 24hour period. They offer a light breakfast which is part of the 25.00 resort fee. We were in room 3 on the first floor. The rooms need a little remodeling(especially the bathroom by the baseboards)--nothing too major. I would stay here again!!!
