PROS -Quiet -Loved the animals -Bed was comfy -Easy check-in/out -Staff was very nice/accommodating CONS -Lobby is not ADA compliant; you have to carry your luggage up the stairs -No shuttle available -Amenities such as a microwave, iron, ironing board and extra towels had to be requested then brought to the room but they should already be in the room -Towels had stains on them -Rooms have no full length mirror -Shower was dirty (debris/other people's hair) and clogged about 3 minutes after turning on water -Room slightly smelled of mildew -Room decor was dated -Chairs for eating tables in room were hard/not comfy We will not be back; price does not reflect value/amenities/cleanliness.

A bit tired

I guess its expensive to stay in the Keys. Expected a bit more for the price. The property is rather dated and behind in some maintenance. The service was very friendly, the restaurant had a very beachy feel and the animals on site were fun (large tortoises, parrots, and sharks!). Previous reviews indicated an available shuttle service to Historic KW, there was not so we were limited in our options.

We checked in recently and, while our initial room had some slight cleanliness issues, the front desk handled it professionally and promptly. Within minutes, they switched us to a new room, and we were very pleased with the accommodations. Special thanks to Claudia, who was such a pleasure to work with! She showed genuine empathy and made us feel truly valued as guests. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing, and we’re already planning to come back in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Ibis Bay Beach Resort for the excellent service and hospitality!
