I absolutely loved this place. The reviews were mixed. I read negative comments about the cleanliness. I had no issues with that. I read negative reviews about the pool and poor mgmt of the grounds. Again, I saw no issues with that. I also read negative reviews saying they felt unsafe at the resort. I was a single female traveling alone. I came and went all hours of the day and evening. I was never afraid. This was a wonderful resort, with amazing staff and caretakers. The grounds were beautiful kept, they worked in the every day. The onsite restaurant was delicious, and the Chicken Walk (pool bar) was delightful. They had water activities onsite. Sunset cruises, sandbar trips, lighted glass bottom night kayaking, fishing. I will definitely stay here again anytime I’m in Key West.

Pool needs a lot more chairs & new ones. The loungers are really uncomfortable. The guest rooms need drip or keurig coffee pots. Joseph at the front desk, John & Sasha at the pool are awesome! Great staff. Housekeeping full services should be offered after your 3rd night. Elevator was out of service our entire 6 nights. We were told they’d waive the parking fee, for the inconvenience. Wear & tear on the guest room couch, outdoor furniture & lack of water pressure in the primary bathroom sink. We let the front desk know. They offered maintenance right away but we needed to get ready for a reservation.

We were overall pleased with our stay at the Beachside Resort & Residences. Everything from the staff shuttle drivers and the restaurants were absolutely amazing. The one thing that we were very displeased with was that the elevators were not working in the building we were staying. My husband had so much trouble going up and down the stairs he was in quite a bit of pain the entire trip and could barley walk which was basically our entire trip. I would have thought the elevator would have been fixed before we left but it was not. This was the biggest issue with our whole stay at Beachside.

The staff was pleasant and courteous and helpful. The property was a little tired and some of the common areas were not the cleanest. Our elevator was out of service for the entirety of our visit. Also they need a second shuttle van. We ended up just using Uber for our trips into town. Overall, not bad, but room for improvement.

The air inside our room was causing breathing issues for both of us. I told the front desk, and asked if they could open a window. They replied that the don't open. It was so bad I complained again. They sent maintenance to our room. They replaced the air filters that were fill of dirt and dust.

The rooms were great! Very spacious & clean. The beach access was also nice. It would’ve been cool to have chairs on the beach to be able to sit on the beach- also wish the beach was more swimmable. Otherwise a great experience!

The double superior room was awful for $600 a night. There aee many different buildings and none are attached to the lobby so if you need anything, it's a long walk as they rarely delivered anything to the room. Asked for an upgrade but was refused because we booked through Expedia. Breakfast is $22 for just eggs and toast. Coffee is $9 in the lobby. Pool was good but don't expect a view unless ypu booked ocean vieq. Shuttle only drops off at 2 spots downtown and no airport shuttle. If you're going to stay here, choose the upgrade because the 1 and 2 bedroom suites were beautiful

The room was very nice. Smaller than what it appears in the advertisement for me but still very clean and nice. When you went down to customer service they were always friendly and helpful. The pool was heated which was very nice.
