We had a bizarre evening and were awoke at 10:30 pm by a crew reconstructing the sea wall outside our room that was loud and CRAZY- flood lights and all shining into our room. The report, considering we booked the most expensive room, is average as was the restaurant. Our room service was awful, some days no wash cloths, others no hand towels one day no service at all/ — weird.

Great ocean/Duval st location.
Enjoyed the location and overall facilities. We were on the the third floor of a large building with no elevators. Not easy for two 70 year olds to maneuver with luggage in hand. Staff was engaging and helpful.

The resort was wonderful! I did not receive VIP anything. My traveling companion used Expedia and got food vouchers, bottle of wine. I got nothing. I called Expedia, no one called me back. Why use Expedia if benefits are random?

Family getaway
We enjoyed a four night stay. Myself, my husband and our 3 year old. Great service and friendly staff. Great location. Felt very safe walking around at night and down Duval. Cafe on site had very good food. Small rooms. Pools were warm enough to swim but sadly no shallow area for children to wade in. Overall we enjoyed and would stay again.
