We loved the cabin we stayed in at Holy Smoke. The woman who checked us in was very knowledgeable and was always reachable by phone. Everything was clean and accommodating. I liked that they would trade out your linens every morning when you needed them to and the location was close to Historic Keystone. It was nice and quiet as well.

This resort was not what I expected I read the reviews before I booked but let me tell you it’s not all what they say first the coffee pot was broken second the fitted sheet kept coming off so I was sleeping on plastic third the shower is very small and no water pressure fourth the walls are so thin you can hear everything from the cabin next door and the people next to us kept talking so we couldn’t sleep or get rest if you want peace and quiet do not rent those cabins pay a little extra and stay in a nice hotel even if you have to travel to get to Mount Rushmore
