We loved the setting, it sits in a little valley and from the view of the mountains rooms you have a view of Washington s face at Mt Rushmore. The rooms are nice, clean, roomy. Breakfast included, a Pub on site and a beautiful Lodge/lobby. Highly recommend to anyone coming to see Mt Rushmore only 2 miles away

Absolutely Stunning Setting. Very close to major attractions and tourist stops, however a brief turn along a scenic road will take you to a place of natural beauty ,a peaceful valley where the KayBar S lodge sits nestled amongst the tall pines.

The morning/afternoon staff was amazing especially Alex and Shalimar! At first our room was underwhelming however they let us upgrade and we had a room with view and balcony and that was great. The evening woman did not acknowledge us, even when saying good evening. The breakfast was wonderful however the pub closes at 8pm so we could not experience the full experience of dining Room was nice and bed was comfy! We would recommend however make sure you get room with view!
