Years past, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Keystone Lodge. We were surprised to learn upon arrival that there is NO LONGER a shuttle service to the mountain. The pool and hot tub area was UNSAFE. The long walk around the pool to the hot tub was covered in thick ice. We witnessed another guest fall on the ice as she exited the building and stepped into the icy concrete surrounding the pool. The hot tub was like warm at best. The jets did not work. The lack of basic safety and maintenance is NOT acceptable. We were disappointed, especially compared to previous positive experience.

Enjoyed our time here. The room was spacious and clean. My only thing that is a con is the hot tub/ spa area was very crowded but they always are in the afternoon after a day of skiing on a holiday weekend.

Disappointing they took away the valet. Instead, you have to load/unload, use a QR code to punch in your car info, pay a fee, and drive across the street, park, then take a tunnel back to hotel. Again, pay a fee for that. Losing services while having the room rate continue to go up is frustrating. The pull-out couches in the room have needed to be replaced since our first visit over 10 years ago. Love the restaurant.

Parking Woes

The hotel is great, the parking not so much. You have to park across the street and to get there you have to leave the hotel, go through a tunnel under the street by taking 4 sets of steps. You unload and then move your car across the street and then do the opposite when you leave. Never mind that this time of year its 19 F outside and you have multiple bags of ski/snowboard gear.
