It was peaceful and in the middle of the nature. Only complain is that you can hear your neighbor next door because of wooden house, parking is great. Staff are really helpful.

The Power House Lodge was a great choice for us while we visited Custar State Park. We enjoyed the simple motel section compared to the small cabins because that was more than sufficient for our two night stay. The room was clean, had all we needed for relaxing and and resting. The scenery from our room was beautiful. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and encouraging. Their resturant was wonderful as well. The food great and staff very helpful in selecting our meal.

The property was clean. The bed was comfortable. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our toilet lid needed to be replaced as the paint was worn down to the wood in a few places. Otherwise all was good.

We were told we were staying in a lodge. This was nothing more than a motel. We were under the impression we had breakfast available. We did but only with a 10% discount. The facility was ok but outdated & needed some upgrades done.

The room was small and cozy. Nowhere to sit but the bed. Sleeping was quiet and very comfortable. Restaurant doesn’t open until 7:00am to get coffee which is free for guests. Grounds are beautiful and parking was great since each unit has their own parking spot. I would skip the restaurant there if you want a nice dinner. We went to the shops and restaurants up the road to eat and shop. A great variety there! Overall, a nice experience.
