This is an older and outdated motel but they are currently renovating it. The staff was responsive and helpful and they provided a great breakfast selection. Due to age of motel and renovations, the building has a musty smell and the window unit in the room I was in could not keep up with the Texas heat. Additionally, my room key kept failing daily and I would have to go back down to the lobby from the 3rd floor to have it fixed so I could access the room.

There was construction going on and it sounded like they were right above my room…I told the attendant but they didn’t do anything about it until my last night staying there…the switched my room…

The room was extremely hot. The bathroom was dirty.. used mini shampoo bottles were left in the shower/tub.. crusty toothpaste was in one of the sinks and a used soap was on also on the sink. The room had a bad smell.
