Perfect for a Downtown Getaway!
Great hotel in an awesome location, we had a great time and being walking distance from everything made the whole event a lot easier. Small thing, we didn't figure out how to get the heater working until the morning, so it was quite cold in the room. A small card or handle on the (well hidden) control panel would have helped a lot, but still a great room with an amazing view, parking and check-in was as smooth as it could have been.

When driving my son back to Queen’s, or just visiting him, this hotel is great for an overnight stay. And while it’s super-affordable, and the location can’t be beat, it needs to be noted that adjoining rooms should not both be in use by separate travellers. I had the great misfortune of hearing *very clearly* the gentleman in the adjoining room involved in some sort of ‘pleasure’ activity. I couldn’t get to sleep until he was quiet, and the uncomfortable feeling passed. Surely on a Sunday night in early January, there was a room available without a hollow door in between it and the neighbouring room!

Great bargain-priced hotel
A fine hotel even at typical hotel rates -- the bargain price is a bonus. Pity, though, that the complimentary boxed breakfast has to generate so much garbage.
