Shady business practice when it comes to canceling

I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. I was very unimpressed by their business ethics and unwillingness to accommodate my situation.

ほぼ全てにおいて満足でした。 値段は格安で、新しいし、部屋は広いし、トライアルやイオンも近いし、駐車場は広いし。朝食に食べれる冷凍カレーとうどんも無料提供でした。唯一のマイナス点はそのカラーのご飯がレンジで温めても固かったことでした。スーパーおすすめです。
