Nice hotel conveniently located in downtown Kitchener. Clean and comfortable rooms. Narrow hotel corridors. No ability to adjust heat in the room. Noisy at night with people running down the halls. Parking exit is strange as it is at the edge of a wall. Difficult to exit at the road of the exit as it is obstructed.

We arrived the the hotel the room temperature was set for 17 degrees. After several attempa to change the temperature and speaking with the hotel staff i was informed the heat is not turned on in that area of the hotel. They offered a small heater which was tiny and could only maybe heat the bathroom not big enough for the room. The area also has hookers and homeless riding bikes with back packs. There was real concerns over the safety of pur vehicle with observing the local activities of these individuals and could only park in an ouside roof top parking lot whith almost no other vehicles. The elevator doors opened and while walking into the elevator the door closed onto my wifes right side. Very unimpressed with the whole situation.

Clean room only the heat was not working they had not winterized the heat function yet so we got a little heater to keep us warm. Also there were a large group of parents with kids for their hockey tournament who were very roudy and played hockey in the hall way till almost 10pm. Until quite a few guest complained. Otherwise our stay was good.

The server at breakfast was extremely friendly and attentive. I was surprised the heat did not work in our room. It made the room uncomfortable. Front staff told me the heat had not been turned on yet. Our stay was October 16. The foyer was warm but not the room. Also, was extremely limited counter space in the bathroom. No hairdryer.
