The lobby looked okay. The floor in the elevator was dirty, we got to our room and there was a spot of dried blood on the door. The room wasn’t so bad. The beds were not good, I didn’t sleep well and heard loud voices in the hall several times during the night. Overall the hotel was ok, I’m not sure I would stay there again.

La Quinta Knoxville took great care of us. We arrived super late and had no problems getting our room. Staff was at the desk ready even though it was 3am. Room was tidy, breakfast was a bonus. (Good quality food) Thank you.

Maybe...it depends if there're no other options...
We traveled with our small dog so our room was one of the "dog rooms." Fine, I get it. But the room stunk. Luckily, I had Febreeze, which I used freely! Apparently they know there's an issue with dog odors because another guest also complained about their room smelling. The shower wall was dirty, the air conditioner was noisy, it ran all night and didn't cool the room, and there was a contact lens on the floor (which means the floor probably wasn't clean). There was dried blood on the bathroom counter! I asked for a disinfectant or something to clean the counter myself and the front desk guy looked at me incredulously and told me he didn't have anything other than the empty can of Lysol that he offered. I wiped the counter and covered it with a towel. We couldn't change rooms because they were sold out. They did not even offer any discount on the room or refund our money. It's a newly remodeled hotel, so there's hope. But, they have to improve their cleaning routine and when a guest has as many issues as we did, at least offer a discount on the room.
