No airport shuttle available when we asked. Need to walk to a beach for actual beach access. Staff were nice but had to request towels and other items that should have been in room already. A good budget friendly option, maybe not the most ideal when travelling with kids.

My 4th stay here. Great location on the beach and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. All staff polite and smiling. Two lovely pools. And friendly squirrels if you have nuts!

However, cleaning staff is not attentive (I ate fruit in the room and the table was still sticky the next day, amenities were not replaced consistently). Lub d Koh Samui Chaweng Beach - Beachfront Vibrant Social Vibe
So, yes, this is very expensive for a hostel. Approx £40 per night for a dorm room. However, I cannot fault the facilities. The rooms, the lockers, the showers, the staff, the two pools, the bar area, direct access to the beach and sea. Bar is too expensive though. Had a great stay.
