Great place to stay for a ski holiday. Slopes are not crowded, staff is very helpful, room is very nice. Restaurants and ski lifts all in walking distance. The only thing is that we didn’t receive the room code before we arrived for our late check in.

The food was a highlight! Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and well presented. The culinary food workshop was amazing, the chef was a great teacher to learn classic Finnish dishes. The downside was the ‘off season’. Staff frequently said ‘something wasn’t available because of the off season’. 40 mins out of town and lunch was only available as a room order. The shuttle service was significantly reduced and a taxi in/out was an expensive trip. While in their ‘peak’ season this would be a must to visit and stay. More awareness on the website and from staff beforehand to plan accordingly would be of benefit. A beautiful and tranquil escape for the solo or couple travelling North Finland.

My 2 teens and I had a wonderful stay in the invisible forest lodge resort. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t imagine a better experience. The food was exceptional- both breakfast and dinner were outstanding for choice and quality. The staff were warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. The lodges were beautifully designed, well equipped and warm and really do have a private hot tub on the deck! This is such a great addition. My son had a medical incident one evening and they remained calm and actioned help immediately with the owner manager personally checking in with us and offering further help if needed. We were so impressed with everything we hope to return and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend.

We stayed at the top hotels during this trip ate various cities and without a doubt Aino Private Island Hotel is the most luxurious and memorable one. To say the place is magical is an under statement, the staff definitely made a huge difference: Pearl, Andrea, Sabine and especially Jasmina. We will definitely return for a longer stay. Thank you for everything.

We had an amazing stay at Silver Birch. Our cabin was gorgeous and the views are incredible. We really enjoyed the sauna and cooling off in the lake. Even though the restaurant was closed (being off season), Kaitlin provided breakfast and made lunch one day. And it rained while we were there so we didn’t see the northern lights - but that was okay because the view outside our windows and glass roof were so amazing.

The best part of our Lapland trip was staying at this house. It truly had everything we could have wished for — a sauna, beautiful snowy surroundings, peaceful forest views, fully equipped kitchen, and even drying machines, which were extremely useful. The two-bedroom layout was excellent. One of the bedrooms, located under the roof, offered a stunning view of the aurora — such a magical experience. The kota was also a lovely highlight, especially on the night we went out and were lucky enough to see the northern lights. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and comfortable. The location is quiet and relaxing, yet still convenient if you have a car and want to go into the town center. Breakfast was simple but good, and we really enjoyed our easy mornings over the four nights we stayed. The kids especially loved the sledges provided — they had so much fun playing in the snow. We would absolutely love to come back again!
