Our rooms were great we had cabins on the river which were amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful only issue we had was we never saw hippos! Nobody’s fault but was the main reason for booking!

Great! I had a wonderful time! The room is clean, comfortable and spacious and the property is beautiful. I would totally recommend.

We were warmly greeted by a young female member of staff.. helped us get luggage to the room. Nothing like a smile from people to make a great first impression. Room was good. Aircon didn’t work but weather was cool anyway Breakfast was really great and made so by happy staff.

What a delightful experience at the Kruger Shalati!! From the amazing staff to the amazing facility, everything was full stars! When we left, I was so sad to return to the “real world”. We had the pleasure of riding with Victor for our daily game rides and spotted all Big 5! Victor was amazing along with his companion Amaze! We also had the pleasure of having our waiter Bheki for lunch and Dinner and Kate for breakfast. They were tremendous! The food was also amazing. You have to book this stay!! I’m missing it every day.

Perfect in every way. The service and attention to detail is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble for The Zarafa team. So much thought has gone into the villas and service. The food is delicious. Truly an outstanding stay in every way.

Remote and rustic.

The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof.
