Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa offers 115 accommodations with safes and hair dryers. Refrigerators and coffee/tea makers are provided. Staff were friendly. The hotel is to isolated which meant the prices were expensive as they knew you didn't have a choice. The food wasrnt very hood and thete is only 2 reastraunts to choose from.

Loved our recent 7 night stay at hideaway! Vinaka to all the staff! Yes some areas could do with a refresh but overall was perfectly usable and enjoyable. The staff were amazing! Got the relaxing massage and facial which were great. Wish had time for more :) - our eight year old loved the slide and the pool. Snorkelling just off the beach we saw heaps of fish in crystal waters. Managed to get taxis and transfers into Singatoka and beyond when needed without a problem. A bit far from Nadi Airport when we had an early flight back but Tour Managers who run the tour desk were extremely efficient with both transfers and tour bookings. The 24 hour reception was also a bonus. Overall loved our stay although next time would try the beachside burre I think :)

Fantastic snorkelling right in front of the resort, food was excellent and activities available were great but what truely makes this experience is the exceptional staff and the relationships you build with them during your time there. We didn’t do any tours but there is a tour desk open every day to help you choose and book tours outside the resort.

Bathroom in the room smelled like piss and sewer smell around the property, even when sitting at the bar we could smell sewer. No TVs in the room , dirty pool area, Booked this place for 3 nights however we just stayed for 1 night and the next morning we checked out to another resort in Nadi. They didnt refund us our 2 days of booking, and expedia really did nothing to help us with getting the refund..I called and explaned them the situation and they said Hideaway will not refund the money, so we just lost the 2 days of payment that was made online. Never again i will go to this resort and will not recommend to anyone either. Breakfast choices were very limited and we had to wait at least 30minutes before they could come and take our order for fried eggs...! Please read other reviews as well prior to booking..! Dont waste your hard earned money on this resort ..

Staff are wonderful and very polite. Ocean safe to snorkel or swim. Menu needs to vary and not repeat itself. Pizzas should have a gluten free option so it can be shared. Very relaxing.

First room 89 was stinging and across the building was stinging. The front desk staff very rude and did not want to change my room. Manager Praveen was called and she was able to accommodate me in another room. Breakfast time staff were very slow. I was part of the wedding group.lot of people had issues

The place needs a little bit of love. There was a lot of things out of order or needing repair. Lots of areas needed a good clean. The food was very average and service was either great or awful. The room itself, was ok, the phone didn’t work, it was noisey at night (you could hear the trucks going down the highway). They did clean the room daily. We didn’t get to do many water activities as the weather was super windy or they just weren’t running the boat etc. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff were helpful and friendly. They tried to keep entertainment going during the day and evening. Rooms were cleaned daily. Restaurant changed menu daily with a pretty good selection too. Resort is a little dated, but some rooms have been updated. The Tour Managers were great too.

This resort is great if you have children, as there are plenty of activities for the kids. Or if you like music thumping until gone 11pm most nights. Or if you like being woken by banging lali/drums at 7am. Or if you like keep fit classes by the pool at full volume...... Not great if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday. Which is what I was looking for..... It totally depends what you want from your holiday. Food was ok. Tandoori restaurant was the best, both quality and price. Japanese was expensive and very small portions. Buffet breakfast was ok. Staff were mostly great. Massage was good. Overall I've been to better places in Fiji. Won't be going back to Hideaway. I was very disappointed overall. Oh and take plenty books to read as there is no 'book swap/library' on the premises, unlike every other place I've been to! Caught me out!!

The staff and service were absolutely excellent. We loved the hospitality. The rooms are pretty dated and facilities definitely need an upgrade. There are plenty activities so you won’t be bored! Note: there is no TV or WIFI in the rooms so wasn’t possible for us to just relax indoors. Location is nice and secluded but would recommend having a rental car. Overall, it is a nice stay but facilities (pool, dining, rooms, bathrooms etc) need a refurb as it is probably not value for money.

We had a great time staying at the hideaway for 7 nights, keep in mind the hideaway is a much more budget friendly resort.. The staff are amazing and love a chat.. the rooms are fine for the price with an outside shower an added bonus , a few ants wondering around, but nothing to worry about.. Snorkeling and fish feeding right out the front, awesome fun happy hour trivia every night, Plenty of meal options with both restaurants and snack, kid and pizza menus.. Most of all, it feels like your in Fiji, enjoy yourself without paying an arm and a leg.. and embrace the local culture, After all, your in Fiji time
