We found this hotel to be ok except for one major problem, and thats the bedroom design, instead of having the traditional bathroom with shower, the toilet opens to the room and the shower opens to the room,so you come out of the toilet into the bedroom to wash your hands ,and you come out the shower cubicle to get a towel really bad design .The hotel overall was ok , good breakfast, nice pool, good location, but because of the bathroom design we will not be choosing this hotel again , overall think this hotel should be rated 4.5 stars not 5

Staff more than accommodating to halo allow us to enjoy our stay. Some wear and tear in the room and the AC in our room was a touch temperamental. Bed comfy, room large and quiet, reception friendly and helpful. Good central location. Pool was lovely after a days adventuring

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu, which is conveniently located right in the city center — perfect for shopping, dining, and exploring. Everything I needed was just a short walk away. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and approachable, always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality really made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay with excellent service.
