Friendly helpful staff.

The property was very nice. A bit older, but very well maintained. The rooms are generously sized and the bed comfy. We had a small deck with a water and sunrise view. Walkable area and right on the beach. The staff was so nice and very helpful. The free breakfast was typical buffet style with many choices. I would stay here again.

A lovely hotel, very close to the beach, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing, served à la carte with fresh and delicious options every morning. The staff were wonderful too — kind, helpful, and always welcoming. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean place with great service and a perfect location near the beach.

The rooms and the staff were absolutely amazing. If you travel as a young family with infants, this is the place to go for you. I was not prepared for the amount of small children in this resort. It was not advertised as such. The amount of crying children in the dining room was overwhelming at times. The food choices were plenty, however the quality of the food was poor, which mainly resulted in my low rating for this property. For example, you were not served orange juice, but orange taste… Whatever that means. The hotel bar closed at 11 PM which is probably also a sign that this resort is targeted for younger families and not adult vacationers. The beach was easily accessible by foot in less than five minutes, and there is a public bus driving to Chania, which we took advantage of quite often. There are plenty of other restaurants in walking distance if you want to pivot from your all inclusive package to the amazing Greek food otherwise available on the island.

Had the most amazing time here at Sansal Chania Crête, the staff are amazing and so friendly, this is our first visit to Crete Sansal and we definitely will return, the roof top pool and bar was an added bonus, at times we had the whole pool area to ourselves which was fabulous, the bar staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was superb, cereals, cooked breakfast, pastries, jams, nuts, continental breakfast as well, fresh orange juice, choice of hot beverages. Staff speak excellent English so excellent communication. Our room had a sea view which we never tired off, the road the hotel is on was quiet at night although it did have traffic it never affected our stay, the room was cleaned every day and they did a fabulous job. Location of hotel was perfect 10 min walk to local port where all the tavernas are, we also had a meal at the hotel which was reasonably priced and great quality. Then 10-15 minute walk in opposite direction was the beach, plenty of sun beds to rent plus excellent service on the beach for drinks and food. Only 30 minutes from Chania airport which we contacted Sansal before we arrived and they organised the taxi shuttle for us, which went very smoothly. Glass boat trip was worth the money too, would recommend the hop on hop off bus trip which picks you up practically outside the hotel, we enjoyed sitting on the bus for 90 mins sight seeing. Phenomenal property and service! Breakfast is 10/10 and so is the service! Lovely property staying with our two kids, as they could run between the pool and beach all day and we could easily see them at all times. We hope to come back someday! One of our best experiences ever coming to this resort.
