Very central to everything. Near Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR station. Across I Square Shopping Center. Adjacent to Cafe de Coral. Lots of money changers on the ground floor and some food shops.
Small rooms. Centrally located in Nathan and very near Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR and opposite I Square Shopping Centre. Adquate bed with futon. Hot shower and good AC. Common hallway with Ref. Located on the 10/F of Chungking Mansion Block C. Lots of shops, eateries and money changers on the ground floor.
Note that it is a hostel remodeled from single apartments scattered in different buildings. The residents in the building are diverse, seems most are from South Asia. Safety is a big concern.
I showed up in front of the front desk with a receipt of the reservation. The lady told me she could not find my name on her list, and let me call Expedia I bought with, after talking with Expedia, Expedia let me pass my phone to her, she refused to answer, a few hours later, finally I was arranged to their stuff's dom.......What a nightmare!
Very good location with a MTR station only a few steps away and plenty of food options around the area. Walking distance to the shopping area of Nathan road and the Harbourfront to get the ferry to Hong Kong Island
This is a very are scare plThe very scary place to stay. I have a very bad feeling. The manager, whose name is Malak or Malik, seem belonged to a terrorist organization, (He is not Chinese, he is from South Asia, most probably from Bangladesh or Pakistan. When he saw U.S. passport, he said I hate American. I booked the hotel via hotel.com I was in transit in Hong Kong for 10 hours and when I arrived there, “the manager said to me, I will not give any room, you go and find the room somewhere else. When I got upset he said, he resold the room to a different customer”he used lots of F… words. At that time it was 10:45 PM and Hotel.com booking documents say, you can check in until 4:00 AM. I am now trying to contact Hong Kong Police about this place.ace
we were transfered to room8,9th flr instead my reservation since it was full.
the location was nice, close to mtr and find it easy to go to places we want. however going up & down took quite some time because the elevator is always full. the location is also near food stalls even downstairs so no one will get hungry😄 the room is really small and will fit asian travellers😄 but it was cute and very comfy!

Affordable hostel in good location
Chose this hostel mainly due to its price and location. Harrassed by people trying to recommend hotel rooms to us when we were trying to find the correct block and correct lift. Turns out there are Blocks A to E. every block has one lift stopping on even floors and one lift stopping on odd floors. Room was comfortable but toilet was small. Clean and hygienic overall though.
Lying on the floor stretch your arms out to the sides. Your hands, feet and head are touching all 4 walls. That is the size of the room.
There is always a huge line for the lifts
Dodgy hawkers in the lobby selling fake watches and SIM cards.
Lobby is more of an alley full of vendors than a lobby.
No windows.
But for $360HKD a night can't really complain, stayed for a week no problems just don't expect much, great location too across the road from TST station, 30mins walk to Mong Kok or 5mins to the ferry terminal, plus the FX money exchangers in the building give the best rates I've seen
The room itself was clean and tidy, however the room was unbelievably small, there wasnt room for 2 people to be able to move around at once. Beware the photos advertised for the rooms are wildly inaccurate. It is more like a pod than a room. Downstairs you need to walk through a flea market and wait a long time in crowded lifts to get up to the room.
It was very difficult to find that exact location of the hotel. This area is super busy with Mideastern and Indian expats that will bombard you with getting a room or a taxi. After finally finding the hotel (which is on Section C all the way back of the building 8th or 10th floor), the room is super tiny and the shower is in the same room as the toilet. This room is only suitable for one person only with a little amount luggage. Our room smelled like Mideastern food everyday from the main lobby. Very uncomfortable during our stay, but we manage to bare with it. Probably the worst hotel I stayed at. It was more like a hostel. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very rude owner!! Wouldn't bother with this place.
Good for backpackers needing somewhere to crash for a night. Very clean.
My experience here WAS NOT A GOOD ONE. I checked in a day late due to my flight being cancelled. I messaged the guest house and informed them of the issues with my flight. On arrival I realised they had obviously given my room away even though I had paid in full for the room for 4 nights. The owner finally took me to a room which was a single and not what I paid for. I booked a double. He then went on to be extremely rude to me shouting at me, lying about my booking and changing is story every 2 minutes. In the end he began to demand more money from me. Luckily one of his employees sorted everything out for me the following day. I wouldn't bother staying here. Small, inconvenient and rude owner.
It's not really a hotel, it's a bunch of small guesthouses scattered around a massive building made up of half a dozen blocks of 16 floors each. The room itself is very small, (double bed spans the width of the room) and the shower and toilet combined are the size of a regular toilet cubicle. The place itself is clean and the staff is helpful when they're around, but it takes 10 minutes at best to get to the reception desk as they are in another block.
Location is great, in the middle of the city and the prices we got were cheap, but you do get what you pay for that's for sure.
The entrance to the big building complex is littered with people offering to sell you fake watches, handbags, rooms in the hotels or drugs (same people, different time of day). Once you're past the entrance the market sellers want to sell you stuff and can be annoying. Then the lifts are very old and busy, so you might have to wait up to 15 mins to get the lift.
Generally speaking, it's a good bargain in a good location but they obviously don't mention all the bad stuff on the brochures, so be aware of what to expect as the pictures are not at all descriptive of what you will actually get.
A little bit difficult to find, since it's inside the Chungking Mansion. Elevator services can be tricky. Great location, close to everything. Room is tiny but clean, well ventilated, hot shower, basically all you need for a weekend stay.
