We very much enjoyed our stay at Selectum Colours Bodrum. The resort was lovely, staff were great, food on offer at the buffet restaurant, A La Carte restaurants and snack options were fabulous and the facilities generally were great. There were a couple of things to note. One downside to our visit was the fact that although there were plenty of sun beds there was not much in the way of shade options on the beach (it was very busy when we were there) and so we were very disappointed that the hotel did nothing to stop people placing towels to reserve their sun beds on the beds that had shade from early morning without using them for hours. Because of the lack of shade on the beach, this was an issue which they need to address. The only other recommendation I would make is if you use hair conditioner bring your own, although the shoewer gel, shampoo and body lotion were fine, the conditioner was not.

Loved the Hamam treatment at the spa, restaurant food amazing - buffet food , just okay. Gym not bad for resort but very okay, beautiful facilities, nice staff. Hairdresser great for a blowout. But spa and hairdresser have resort prices of course. The room was great and clean.

The Salmakis Resort & Spa was an enticing place but little things meant that it didn't deserve its 5 star rating. The WiFi did not work in the hotel room, only in the restaurant and reception areas, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. When we arrived there was one area through which everyone had to walk to access other areas of the hotel, which had a large pallet loaded with what seemed to be large boxes of machinery. Over our stay this pallet was gradually unloaded but the boxes were just moved to corridors outside the hotel rooms on various levels. There was evidence of damage to some of the mosaics set into walkways and repairs were needed to the steps from our room down to the pool area. In my hotel room, there was no plug for the bathroom basin, meaning to shave it was necessary to keep running the water - a waste of resources. There was no toilet roll holder beside the toilet, just a couple of toilet rolls sitting on a shelf beneath the hand basin. The beach towels were obviously quite old as many of them were frayed at the edges. In all, whilst we enjoyed our stay there it definitely was not worth a 5 star rating.

Food was terrible and sea is far away from Hotel! I was expecting more from cleaning but food was really bad.

We stayed at the METT on our trip through Turkey and Greece in July. We really enjoyed our stay at the METT and I would highly recommend it. The hotel is very modern and chic. It has a convenient location and spectacular views of the bay with great beach and pool areas. We used the fitness center every day, and found the room to be spacious and well appointed. The service was done through What's App, which made anything we needed very convenient. The breakfast was very good and we had dinner at two of the restaurants on the water, which had good food and great views and ambiance. I would recommend the METT as a great property, with very good service and location.
