Terrible showers.
Nice hotel, great clean and tidy rooms. Well cared for. Bathrooms were clean, but the shower was terrible. The water from the shower head feels like pins and needles hitting you. It's gonna be painful if you have a sunburn. The reason for this was because over 80% of the holes in the showerhead were all clogged. It looks like there are major calcium deposits in their pipes that clog up the holes. In addition, many times I did not have hot water or the water temperature changed dramatically and it was hard to control. Overall I hated the shower experience and mainly due to this, I would not return to this hotel.

This hotel is perfectly situated, very close to the beach and super easy for any tours that you might want to take. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffets pretty decent. They rotate some of the items day to day. The staff at the counter is super helpful and can help you book any taxis or tours that you might need. There are tons of restaurants that are super close from a walking perspective so really a great stay in krabi.

Fairly average, did the job.
Good location if Ao Nang beach is your thing. Didn’t try any of the food at the hotel or try the pool so can’t comment. Room felt slightly damp and was ok cleanliness wise but not the best I’ve stayed in (I couldn’t work out if the sheets were slightly grey or if it was the lighting). Shower was cold, reception sent up a service guy which achieved about 1 degree extra of warmth. The balcony was TINY!! It literally had two small chairs and one small table squeezed in, it was so tight you couldn’t actually move /adjust them. There is a fabulous little bar right outside, great prices and great cocktails! This was the most expensive place we stayed out but does not rate highest. For the price it was quite average.

Key drama
We arrived prior to check in time and requested early check in. A very gruff front desk manager immediately scolded us and said we would have to wait. The room and hotel condition was a bit dated but good. Our entire negative experience was shaped entirely by our interaction with front desk staff. At check in we had 2 rooms for 4 people. There is a strict one key per room policy. On the 2nd day my sister and her husband ended up going in different directions. We arrived back at the hotel and she had no key. The desk lady scolded us for not leaving a key at the desk. Finally, she sent maintenace to open the door for her. Problem is the key controls the electricity. So i went back to the desk and had a strained argument with the clerk that they cannot leave her in a hot room with no lights or ac. She finally provided a blank key to run the ac and lights. The following day my sister doubted her husband would leave the key at the desk again so she placed paper in the door jam so she could avoid the same drama again. As soon as we returned to the hotel front staff came running at us with a cell phone pic of the paper scolding us. Despite all this we would be in Ao Nang for another 5 days. We asked to extend our stay and was told we would have to move from our premium rooms to street facing rooms which are very loud. Also, the price quoted was 2x our current rate and 2x+ the rate on hotels.com. We moved to a new hotel which checked us in early and gladly provided 2 keys.

Our stay was excellent! The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. The pool area was great with comfortable lounge chairs. The room was comfy, great A/C and clean. The staff quickly fixed our shower when we had a problem. All of the staff were friendly and provided great service, especially Pom, who made great margaritas and was very attentive.

Fantastic Hotel!
We had a great stay at Krabi Heritage! The room was really comfortable, spacious and clean! The property in general was really well kept, with a great pool area and a really good breakfast buffet. You can also buy day trips and transport from the hotel lobby as well if desired. I would highly recommend this hotel for exploring the islands and beaches around Ao Nang and Krabi. The only minor complaint was the lack of wifi in the room - it only worked in one corner of the room so I was using mobile data a lot.

I saw 4 out of 5 - great value for the money.
For the price, it was great. The beds and pillows were doable. The WiFi is horrible... so if you plan to work online, not the hotel. The service was good.. an overall average hotel that I'd recommend for $50-60 a night. The Paris restaurant next door is amazing...

Loved the classic feel of the hotel. Amenities were a little sparse. Great view from the room. Pool was small and the bar was a joke. More like a window to the kitchen. The breakfast buffet was good. They were stingy with the water - limited to two a day. Staff were not friendly with the exception of the housekeeping, who were very nice and accommodating! Great location.

Let’s start with the good. Breakfast buffet is quite robust and very tasty. Great. Now, the bathroom had a woman’s fake eyelash in the shower soap dish. What’s even worse, is the shower water never got warm. The staff were not particularly friendly and I can understand why. This part of Krabi is awful. It is dirty, with trash everywhere and the amount of tourists is staggering. Honestly, if I could change my itinerary, I would’ve skipped this or stayed farther away and just took a grab to the beach for an island tour, but even those were cattle herding of hundreds of tourists and just not a great experience. While the hotel is not awful per se, I would never stay there again. But if you do, be prepared to have little or no Internet service. I am just really disappointed in this hotel.
