Good home base for exploring, not near the beach
The property is beautiful and the rooms are new, spacious and well maintained. Loy Chalet had the most comfortable beds of our entire trip. Large pool, delicious smoothies, and good breakfast options. It is important to know that for lunch and dinner, the hotel does not have a kitchen on site (despite the website noting fine dining) and anything ordered is delivered from a nearby restaurant. We waited for a fairly long time for our lunch to arrive on the first day. When I asked about walking to Klong Muang Beach (the closest to the property) the desk attendant told me it was a local beach used mainly for fishing, and that we should take a taxi to Ao Nang, about 20 minutes away. We were able to book a private boat excursion that was the highlight of our trip. Contact Krabi Medsine Travel & Tour at 083-6382541 (telephone or WhatsApp) and speak with Sine. We also used her for our transportation back to the airport as it was cheaper that the shuttle offered by Loy.

A beautiful location very close to the beach. The room was perfect and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and the cappuccino were delicious. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. You can rent a scooter to explore the area. We would return again if we visited the area again.

Everything was perfect about this hotel, food, location, the rooms… however the part I want to highlight the most is the service. The gentlemen behind the desk is a credit to his role, not only did he help us out with everything we needed. He also helped us retrieve our missing passports and without his help we would have been in a really difficult situation. Thank you again, Edward and Robyn.

most beautiful place I’ve stayed for such low cost
This is an absolute find! What a stunning place, we felt like we struck paradise here. The resort is small but so beautifully done. You can rent scooters and go on day trips arranged by the hotel. The service was amazing. Free breakfast. Beautiful rooms and gorgeous outside jungle baths. The pool was perfect. So in love with it

Un hôtel sympathique, au calme, loin de l'agitation de Ao Nang. Belle chambre et belle piscine d'eau salée. Le staff est sympathique et tente d'être aussi aidant que possible. Attention, l'hôtel est assez excentré, il faut un moyen de locomotion pour rejoindre les principaux spots touristiques. Mais des améliorations à apporter : - ménage de la chambre : il faut obligatoirement signaler que l'on souhaite que la chambre soit nettoyée sinon rien n'est fait (soit disant pour respecter l'intimité des touristes) - restaurant : horaires et disponibilités des plats très aléatoires, problème il y a peu d'autres restaurants disponibles à proximité - checkout : attention, l'hôtel prendra 3% sur le règlement si paiement par carte bancaire (même si vous avez pris avec eux : excursions, massages, diners ...). Il n'est pas rare en Thaïlande de se voir attribuer des frais supplémentaires lorsque l'on paie par CB mais cela est beaucoup plus rare dans les hôtels, notamment lors de long séjour.
