Worst ever check in experience - We arrived at the hotel on 31 Dec 2024 at around 9 am from airport. The check-in time is 2 pm, so we requested for an early check-in if possible. The receptionist advised us that she will notify us once the room was ready. We wandered around the hotel in the meantime and at around 1 pm, we came back to the reception area. The receptionist advised that the room was still not ready so we sat at the sofa in front of the reception as we were already exhausted. We waited till 2 pm and approached the reception and were then told that the room was ready. When we finally arrived at our room, we found cleaning staff in our room advising us that the room was not ready and that it will take another 20 minutes to clean. They informed us that they had been advised to clean the room just few minutes ago by the reception.
On-top of that when we inquired about some local things to pass time in the morning at the reception, the girls at Reception were rude and unhelpful with standard response "I don't know". The two rude girls then kept mumbling to each other in their language, while we are standing in front of them. We were the first to arrive that morning and the room could have definitely been made ready before the normal checkin time or atleast by the usual 2 pm checkin time, as we were told by the cleaners that there had been many early check outs that day.
No apology by the rude reception staff. Definitely never recommending this place ever again!
