The hotel reminds me more of a hostel. Very run down. Room is a weirdly laid out. Sink in the room is outside the bathroom. Great view from our room though.

Wake Up is in an excellent location. Just a short walk to the beach and the main part of town. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool is in the hotel next door as they are owned by the same people, which is a short walk from the hotel reception. Staff are friendly but had limited English. I would stay again.

This location is great! It's located just in the middle sort of in Ao Nang where you can walk to the beach, restaurants and practically everything else! The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are nice too.

Location good in middle close to beach but hotel in front of night club noise like I’m in the club can’t sleep like that , hotel crazy dirty everywhere it a hostel with have private rooms but it crazy dirty and look like stuff don’t care for the price we pay this is awful value , over pay , there 2 towels only no hand towel ,water in shower second running and then stop and cold water very slow , I can’t believe we pay 145$ this is crazy they should be shamed, pool look dirty and far from hotel so is breakfast for walk not the same building and is awful , like seriously for this price look something else , it just because we book last minute another way I newer come here , front desk stuff also rude not helpful I will later add photos no for kids or handicap, also hotel guests smoke and smell come inside my room , next door there some crazy person who going smoke every 20 minutes with her baby and baby crying like crazy while she smoke it was terrible poor baby , people some very trashy here , I mean if you like be around trash u can stay here I just end up here because last minute booking I didn’t know about this place , and to book this place from them cheaper then from Expedia we over pay

The perks: Location was great! About a two minute walk to the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. Very friendly staff. This hotel only gives you one key for the room so if you are staying with family or friends you might to ask front desk to open the room. Also the air and power turn off in the room when you take the key out so if you want to keep the room cool you’ll need to ask the desk to open the room. A couple times after watching live music we got back late and had to call for assistance to open the room. Overall for the price and location it was a good room.

Stayed at this property for three night. Female only dorm was clean and quiet. A small refrigerator was in the room. They gave a clean towel and bottle of water everyday. Area is walkable with easy access to beach. Staff was friendly and common area is clean and well maintained. No social activities though. My only two complaints would be that the AC did not cool down the room too much and that the bathroom drain was not cleaned even after we asked to since the water was going down slowly.

The hotel is smelly and the staff was very rude. The only plus side was it’s convenient located other than that don’t book here if you do have low expectations. My room smelled like cigarette smoke, the towels smelt like mildew.
