This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and I will keep coming back! The staff is great, and it’s clean and charming. The rooms are a bit of a toss up. The first time I came I got an amazing room— huge windows with a great view— and the most recent time it wasn’t quite as nice (one small window, smaller room), but it was still just as clean with the same amenities. That could be said for any hotel though— not every room can have the best view. The location is amazing, especially if you’re a shopper you will likely end up spending too much money with all the amazing stores around, and the museums are RIGHT there. It’s near Leidseplein where there are clubs and bars, but far enough away that it’s relatively quiet. It’s also right next to Vondelpark, another plus. Overall, I’d give Jan Luyken 6/5 stars if I could!
