Owner Matters
First off, it would appear that the owner of the apartment matters…as our apartment was lacking greatly in many areas, while other family members stayed in a tremendously better apartment in the same complex. Our apartment in fact, despite being booked months in advance, wasn’t even ready…so we stayed in a temporary setting until the one we booked was ready. The bathrooms were horrid, the WiFi was run through a phone line instead of ethernet connection. The couches were springy, and felt like they had been picked up from a curb in front of a frat house. The seats of the chairs were disconnected and could not be safely used. The lock to the patio door was broken, and we had to find something to prevent easy access through it. The shower head would not stay up, so you had to squat to shower. When we arrived, we were initially directed to the wrong complex, and kept getting driving directions despite repeatedly stating we weren’t driving and needed to know how to access the apartment as pedestrians. Communication was horrendous. Initially there were no towels, so we had to dry ourselves with a couple hand towels we had in our luggage. Thin towels were dropped off the next morning. Note that while there was a washing machine, there was no detergent and only four hangers (clothes are air-dried here). The ironing board was nasty and unusable. The blinds in the bathroom were mangled, and appeared to have some sort of mold. Not a great stay…but the area was fairly nice :)

The waiting time for the room was long, supposed to check-in by 3pm, we waited until 3:30pm, the room was still not ready. After check-in, we found out the bedsheets and pillows are not clean, the floor is also very dusty, and one of the air conditioning water is dripping. The location is very convenient. Hopefully, there's improvement in the future.
