We ended up at this hotel after leaving a terrible experience at our previous hotel early and I’m so happy we chose Discovery Kartika! The property is beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and kind. Our room was very nice. I felt the bathroom did need a little updating, but nothing where I would need to change rooms and honestly, other guests had mentioned that in their reviews so I was prepared. The breakfast buffet included with our room was exceptional with so much to choose from. The area is very safe with so much shopping nearby and plenty of food options if you don’t want to eat on site. I would stay here again when returning to Bali.

You cannot beat this hotel for value and quality. The grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is huge, with a pool bar and daily aquarobics. The staff go out of their way to make your holiday the best it can be. There are planned daily activities and evening entertainment every day. There is a choice of great restaurants onsite, but also in the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever had, with a huge and varied choice daily. It is not far from the airport, so no need to sit for hours in the legendary Bali traffic. There is a boardwalk at the back of the hotel and you can walk right into the heart of Kuta from there. It is also an iconic location to witness the glorious evening sunsets. Great place to stay!

Excellent location. Close to shopping mall, markets, restaurants and convenience stores. Good buffet breakfast and nice pool area. Great gym. Band and singing every night was too loud. Gardening at 7am woke us up. Showers need an upgrade.

This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. We went for a villa, which is one of the more extravagant options, and we were not disappointed. Totally worth it. We had a beach view and sunset view. We also had a private pool, and an extra “tree house” in the garden with air con, a double bed, and a TV - which the kids loved. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, throughout the hotel. And the villa comes with its own “butler” team - who were amazing. The main pool at the hotel has a swim up bar, which was fun and quite social. The restaurants and bars were all nice. And we used the shop quite a bit. The hotel was like an oasis of calm when compared to the hustle and bustle of the area. But it was nice to get out - just 1 min to the mall, and 5 mins along the promenade to the beach which was lovely for swimming. I would be very happy to come back to Kartika Plaza if I ever make it to Bali again.

Great location! Some parts of the property are nice (pool, restaurant settings) but room is run down, old furniture. Breakfast was just ok. They don’t let you use pool towels for the beach. They advertise activities on social media but don’t really tell you what is happening while your there so you can participate.

This was one of the best days I’ve had while being on holiday. I absolutely adore this hotel and the staff there’s so amazing so friendly so helpful and every way possible the food on site was amazing. The rooms were lovely and the pool bar is one of the best places to spend the day. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. It is accessible to be able to go out and walk around the streets even if you don’t want to dine in the hotel itself it is very easy to get transport from the hotel to other areas it is close to all the other main parts of Bali. If you’re looking to have more of a party lifestyle it is accessible to all of that. I would write this hotel 5 out of 5. It is absolutely fabulous.
